WHAT IS REIKI AND HOW DOES IT WORK

Reiki is a Japanese technique traditionally used for relaxation and stress reduction. But, the benefits are sometimes incredible. Clients experienced emotional, physical, spritual, and mental wellbeing  that they attribute to having had a Reiki session.  A Reiki practitioner has received an Attunement during certification which allows them to tap into the universal energy and have it channeled through them, to you. A Reiki treatment is non-evasive and different than any other body treatment you may have received.  It can be administered through a touch or no touch approach and is complimentary to modern mecidine or works well on it's own.

The body has 7 main energy points called Chakras.  When any of these Chakras are blocked the person experiences dis-ease mentally, physical pain, unbalanced emotions, and/or spirituality discord. Reiki opens the chakras and allows energy to flow evenly to all areas of the body and naturally more energy is drawn to those areas which have blockage.

Each person's body responds to receiving the energy in different ways, one may experience a tingling feeling, heat, cold, have sudden realizations, and more as these chakras are opening and energy is beginning to flow. At the end of a treatment one should be very relaxed and have more focus. If the chakras have been blocked for a long period of time a longer sessions may be required.
